show your support
In 7 days carbonaut will be playing the biggest show of our short career, on the Trocadero main stage in Philadelphia on Saturday January 19. Furthermore, it will be one of our last performances for a few months, as we've decided to take time away from constant performing to write new material, and progress further musically. Tickets for the Troc show are 15$, and the bill is set dependant upon number of tickets sold, so we will be notifying everyone the day of the show as to when we are on. There will be a bus leaving from Westchester and returning there after the show, if you don't feel like driving. If you are interested in the bus trip email us at carbonautmusic@gmail.com. Our tickets need to be sold by this Tuesday, so notify myself or someone else in the band and we will get the tickets to you ASAP. This may be our last chance to play for you until late April, early May. We hope we have the opportunity and we thank you for the support.

noah jumped ship
It is with grave sincerity that we must say goodbye to one of our guitarists, Mr. Noah Zinter. He's been spiritually called to prepare for a religious life and we wish him all the best, though we regret to see the holy rockin' roller go. He will play a few more shows until we find the right replacement, as we have a number of gentlemen scholars in mind. After the shows we currently have scheduled we plan to retool for a month or so- rewriting some songs, recording new ones in the studio, and preparing for a spring/summer of elevated musicianship the likes of which we've never produced. in the month of november we will make our debut in chad's home town of warminster, so be at the red stallion on the 17th to witness carbonaut giving thanks. keep checking our myspace for further updates on shows, new songs, show flyers, new photographs, and soon, video media. as always we thank you for supporting us, we want you.

rocktober
through the rigors of academia, and the strict appetite that work displays for a person's time, we have remained diligent in our efforts to compose new songs. this will be most notably displayed in our next two shows, october 14 at the brighton bar in jersey and our first ever homecoming show at westchester university, on october 19. we have recently picked up more shows out of penn's woods, and are taking our act on the road come december. we have composed our mailing list and updates are thusly circulating the matrix of the interweb. if you are not on the mailer and would like to be, email us and let us know your postal address, so you may receive our care package. we are tentatively looking to re-enter the studio in a few weeks, so new songs will be distributed, most likely, electronically in mp3 form. thankyou for you continued support, we can't wait for you to hear our new work.

update
our show at the troc balcony was a huge success, thanks in large part to those who came out to support us. the crowd made the show and was a big reason that we've been invited to play the main stage this winter. our next show is saturday sept. 8th and we'll be unveiling new songs as well as secret additions to a couple of our previous songs. head over to our gallery, sign up and post any pics you have of the band under fan photos. check out our myspace (click the yellow bird) and visit the audio section to listen to the demo now. we appreciate your support, and recognize that we are largely dependent upon our fan base to continue spreading the word about our music. we intend to reward our faithful accordingly. see you on sept. 8, at our first preforming venue, the rusty nail
